England are guaranteed a last-16 place at absolute worst as one of the four best third-placed teams.
Gareth Southgate’s side play Slovenia in their final group game on Tuesday and a win will assure the Three Lions advance as group winners.
Denmark and Slovenia will progress automatically with wins. Serbia will finish in the top two if they beat Denmark and Slovenia doesn’t beat England.
