The M23 rebels continue to occupy different parts of the Masisi territory located in North Kivu province, in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Since the beginning of this week, day by day, M23 is more and more pushing away the coalition of RD Congo FARDC along with SADC, Burundian Army, FDLR and Wazalendo, from the different parts of the territory of Masisi.
So far, M23 has taken over the area of Rubaya, which is very rich in precious stones, Ngungu, Bihambwe, Murambi and other parties, and the rebels continues to advance
In an interview with Rwandatribune TV Updates, Maj Niyonkuru Michel, a former FDLR fighter who later joined the CNRD/FLN, gave a picture showing the remaining parts, so that M23 can control the entire territory of Masisi.
Maj Niyonkuru also reveals the tactics M23 is using to defeat the DRC, SADC, Burundian forces, Wazalendo, FDLR and white mercenaries.
