Matchday24 of Rwanda’s Primus national league goes on; four out of eight games have played on Friday, with two scheduled on Saturday and final two on Sunday.

Matchday23 had left 394 goals after 184 league games. Today’s four games have produced eight goals to make it 402 goals in 188 games. That’s 2.1 goals per game.

Four out of today’s eight goals have come in the first halftime, to make it 398 league goals in 2023/24 season. 

Etincelles FC’s Sadjati Niyonkuru scored the earliest second halftime goal to extend the Rubavu-based club lead to 3-0 over Mukura. It was on the 56 minute. 

Bugesera FC’s Niyomukiza Faustin opener against Amagaju at Bugesera Stadium followed in less than 10 minutes, to be the sixth goals of the match day 24.

Those six goals were enough to make it 400 league goals in 2023/24 season. 

Rayon Sports’ Ugandan Charles Bbaale scored the first goal of the season during their 2-1 away win at Gasogi United. It was on 18 August 2023, at Kigali Pele Stadium (Opening match)

Sunrise’s Frank Shema scored the 50th goal during their home win against Bugesera FC on Saturday, 16 September (match day 4) 

Gorilla FC’s Cedric Mavugo scored the 100th goals (90+3rd minute equalizer) during their 2-2 draw away to Bugesera on Saturday, 14 October. (match day seven)

A total of 402 goals were scored in 188 games with 191 came in the first half time; 208 come in the second halftime. Plus three from Musanze FC forfeited vs Etincelles.
