On Tuesday, April 23, Rwandan international defender Dylan Maes played all 90 minutes and helped his new club FS Jelgava to their first league win, 1-0 away to FK Liepaja.

It was FS Jelgava’s first league win after match day match eight; drawing two in Lativia’s top flight. They will return in action on 28 April, hosting Grobina on match day mine.

The 1.91-metres starlet had missed the first two league marches due to injury but since match day three he’s been a regular starter.

Dylan Maes has started six out of eight league games

International defender Rwandan Dylan Maes, 22, signed for Latvian top-flight club FS Jelgava, in Monday, March 4, as a free agent, after his short-term contract with Slovenian outfit NK Tolmin had expired in January.

Maes has represented Rwanda at U20 and U23 levels, is pleased with the deal and sees it as a steep closer to his Senior Amavubi debut.
