Rwanda national football team coach Torsten Spittler is keen on incorporating new faces into the Amavubi side for the upcoming games against Lesotho and Benin in the ongoing 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

Amavubi will get on on a training camp on May 20, before visiting both Benin on June 6 and Lesotho (in South Africa) on June 11.

Speaking to the media on Thursday, May 2, the President of Rwanda Football Federation (FERWAFA), Alphonse Munyantwali, confirmed that there are new foreign players who will be added to the team.

“They are going to come in little by little. You will see them in June, and then in September, you might see more,” he said.
