Rusizi-based Espoir Football Club has appointed a former Rayon Sports coach who is immediately tasked with getting the club back into the Rwanda Premier League via promotion from the second division next season.
As appeared in the shared photo, Romami Marcel has signed for the newly relegated Espoir FC. They finished bottom after a disastrous season which has seen them use three different managers.
It’s understood there will be some significant changes in the board too. As we saw in the above photo, the new Romami Marcel was pictured with Rusizi District Mayor Dr. Kibiriga Annicet and team president Twizeyimana Vincent.
It’s understood that President Twizeyimana Vincent shall be the only one to retain his spot. The likes of vice presidents, team manager, general secretary, advisors, and their likes shall be changed from so-called pioneers to professionals.
