Things have not clicked once again in Police FC as they lost 2-1 to Kiyovu Sports, making it their eighth consecutive game without a win.
From being title contenders to eight consecutive games without a win, there is increasing pressure on Mashami and the club management.
Nigeirian midfielder Djibrine Akuki Abubakar has said everyone in the dressing room is not happy with the club’s abysmal output in the ongoing 2023/24 Primus National League.
Abubakar scored the consolation goal as Police suffered a 2-1 loss at the hands of Kiyovu SC on Saturday, a result that extended their winless streak to eight league matches.
The Nigerian midfielder admitted that the players do not know the problem exactly despite giving their 100 percent on the field.
Abubakar insists Police lost the majority of the games on small details and not because the players’ level is below par.
He, however, trusts the coaches are working assiduously to bring the team back to winning ways.
Police FC are fifth on the league table with 33 points from 23 games. From the past eight games, Vincent Mashami’s side has collected just two points out of a possible 24.
